CableTracker LAN / Cable analyzer
180 CB is made up of a signal emitter and a highly sensitive receiver. The signal emitter is connected to a plug or the core of a cable and sends a coded signal along the cable. The problem that frequently arises in cabling within buildings is knowing which cable powers a particular connection and where the cable passes within the structure of the building. This is important to establish if, for example, you will be required to put a hole in the wall. As the device emits signals, it's possible to follow cables and can can detect cables without voltage so that insulation or walls don't need to be damaged to trace them. The volume and sensitivity of the LAN analyzer can be adjusted. All conventional lines can be identified, including network and co-axial cables. The signal generator comes with alligator clips and a mains connector. The receiver can be used with other signal generators for detecting cables.
