Temperature Transducer
The T-TTC temperature transducer converts the mV output of a standard thermocouple into a load independent dc current or voltage signal capable of driving a number of independent instruments. Power for the unit is derived from an auxiliary supply. Cold junction compensation is provided to allow termination of the thermocouple leads at ambient temperature. Internal circuitry is utilised to correct for the characteristic non-linearity of the thermocouple outputs and to produce an output which is proportional to temperature. The unit conforms to IEC 60688. In addition it meets the insulation requirements of IEC 60255-5, clauses 5, 6 and 8. The thermocouple calibration data conforms to IEC 60584 Part 1.
